After exiting Prop Hunt (a game mode of Garry's Mod from Steam), I get MalwareBytes reporting the following two IP addresses as being blocked.

Hey guys, don't forget to like, comment, and subscribe!Outro Song: Novus by SterlingArcher700Song Link: watching. You're never running the game - you're running the engine, telling it to select a given mod (note how the games are run like hl2.exe -game cstrike, for example). The exe file is just a bootstrap that prepares the engine, and loads the actual mod (like Half-Life 2 or Counter Strike: Source), which in itself is a bunch of data and DLLs.
2) 198.27.64.67
This happens pretty much every time I play the game. I have downloaded many maps/textures/taunts from Steam so I don't know how to isolate the problem.
Hl2.exe Garrys Mod. GMod is a Sandbox Modification. Using GMod you can pose ragdolls. This means can position people from HL2/CS/DoD and change their faces. A big comic book creating community has popped up around this feature. Using GMod you can build. Take props from HL2/CS/DoD and weld them together to make walls. 217.23.9.123 - this happens when I start the game, 2 records91.211.117.3191.211.117.7346.246.94.108The other 3 come when I join a server. One other person reply to mey Steam forum post on said subject here: http://steamcommunity.com/app/4000/discussions/1/648816742663116217/
I was sent here (http://www.symantec.com/security_response/) to report the problem from Symantec chat, but I couldn't find where to report the problem. That is the purpose of this post.

Video tutorial
Universal Split Screen setup
- Install and run Universal Split Screen: see the quick start guide.
- In options, load the Source Engine preset.
- Go back to the Current window tab.
Garry’s Mod setup
- Open the GarrysMod directory by right-clicking Garry’s mod in Steam -> Properties -> Local files -> Browse game files…
- Right-click hl2.exe and click Create shortcut. Rename the shortcut if you want.
- Right-click the new shortcut and select properties.
- At the end of Target, add
-windowed -w 1920 -h 500 -insecure +m_rawinput 1
- This is for a 1920x1080 monitor. You can adjust the width/height for your monitor.
- The
-insecure
will prevent you from joining any Valve Anti Cheat (VAC) secured servers. You can remove it if you want, but it is risky.
- Launch the shortcut as many times as you need.
- Source Engine games will usually not let you launch more than one instance. In Universal Split Screen, alt-tab into Garry’s Mod so the window is selected, then click ‘Unlock Source engine for a new instance’
- Click Start new game. Change Single Player to however many players you need. Make sure Local Server is checked. You can set the map/gamemode as you like. Click Start Game.
- On the other instances, go to Find Multiplayer Game -> Local Network and join the server.
Tips before you start
Garry's Mod Hl2.exe Has Stopped Working
- If you have inconsistent mouse movement, especially when moving multiple mice, make sure the polling rates on your mice are set as low as possible. You can usually set this in your mouse configuration program (look on the manufacturer’s website).
- Disable steam overlay by right-clicking Garry’s Mod in Steam -> Properties and un-check ‘Enable the Steam Overlay while in-game’
- If you want to start and stop split screen, you should restart all instances of the game or it will start to slow down significantly.
Split screen setup
- Open Universal Split Screen
- In options, load the Source Engine preset (if you have not already done so).
- Go back to the Current window tab. Alt+tab into the first instance. Set the mouse and keyboard or controller. Repeat for the other instances.
- Click Start split screen. You should now be able to play. Press End to stop.
